I am a dedicated Diabetes Specialist with a focused interest in the Ayurvedic understanding and integrative management of diabetes (Prameha/Madhumeha). I have extensive experience in managing Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, early-stage Type 1 diabetes supportive care, and gestational diabetes support through Ayurvedic therapies, lifestyle correction, and diet regulation. Treatment is based on detailed assessment of Prakriti, Agni, Dosha imbalance, and metabolic status, along with regular monitoring of blood glucose levels, HbA1c, and associated risk factors.
My practice emphasizes Ahara (dietary regulation), Vihara (lifestyle modification), and Aushadhi (Ayurvedic medicines) as the core pillars of diabetes management. Special focus is given to weight management, insulin resistance reduction, and correction of digestive and metabolic imbalance. Panchakarma-based supportive therapies are advised selectively to enhance metabolism and improve glycemic stability.
I strongly believe that diabetes is a lifestyle and metabolic disorder requiring long-term discipline rather than short-term medication alone. Patient education, self-monitoring, and sustainable lifestyle changes are central to my treatment philosophy. Preventive care for diabetes-related complications such as neuropathy, kidney dysfunction, fatigue, and recurrent infections is addressed through early intervention and holistic management.
