am a qualified Pulmonologist with an MD in Pulmonary Medicine, dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of respiratory diseases. My clinical training and academic background have equipped me with strong expertise in managing a wide spectrum of pulmonary conditions, including pulmonary tuberculosis, hydropneumothorax, pleural diseases, COPD, bronchial asthma, interstitial lung diseases, pneumonia, and respiratory infections. I completed my MD in Pulmonary Medicine from Guru Gobind Singh Medical College & Hospital, Faridkot, where I was actively involved in patient care, academic teaching, and research. My postgraduate thesis, titled “A Study of Outcomes of Hydropneumothorax Among Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients,” reflects my deep interest in tuberculosis-related complications and evidence-based clinical outcomes. Through this research, I gained extensive experience in clinical evaluation, radiological interpretation, pleural interventions, and statistical analysis. As a pulmonologist, I believe in a patient-centered approach that combines clinical excellence with compassion and clear communication. I emphasize early diagnosis, guideline-based management, and long-term follow-up to improve respiratory health and quality of life. I am well-versed in procedures such as thoracentesis, intercostal chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy assistance, and pulmonary function test interpretation. In addition to clinical work, I have a strong interest in medical education, public health awareness, and preventive pulmonology, especially in the areas of tuberculosis control, smoking cessation, and environmental lung diseases. I continuously strive to update my knowledge with the latest advancements in respiratory medicine and apply them in daily practice. My goal is to deliver ethical, evidence-based, and holistic respiratory care while contributing meaningfully to the field of pulmonary medicine.
