Dr Hashim Md Tahir

I started practicing medicine since 1981. After obtaining my postgraduate qualification, I have been practicing as a obgyn since 1987 mainly in Medical faculties of Malaysian universities. I practiced and teach medicine in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology in National University of Malaysia from 1987 to 1997 during which I attained the post of Associate Professor and Head of Department. From 1998 to 2015, I practiced as a Consultant Obgyn in various private hospitals and clinics in Malaysia. From 2015 , I practiced and teach medicine in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University Technology MARA Malaysia for 8 years obtaining a full Professor post and Head of Department post in the process. Following which I joined the Royal College of Medicine, Perak and followed by a similar post in the Quest International University of Malaysia until 2024. After that I practiced as a Consultant Obgyn at the University Hospital UTAR until end of 2025.
