As an MBBS graduate in a multispecialty hospital, I primarily functioned as a front-line medical officer or junior resident, serving as the crucial first point of contact for patient care. My daily responsibilities involved conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, managing acute and chronic cases in the wards, and stabilizing patients in the emergency department. I worked closely with a diverse team of senior consultants and specialists across various departments, assisting them in complex procedures and coordinating interdisciplinary treatment plans. A significant portion of my role required meticulous medical documentation, including writing detailed admission notes, tracking patient progress, and preparing comprehensive discharge summaries.
