My name is Doctor Blessing Nse Bassey, I am a hard worker, I am someone who is always willing to learn and passionate about research scientific-based investigation and making a difference in the work I undertake as a Clinician and a researcher. I first became interested in this field when I was younger, and that passion has never quenched since I came across a write-up about CD4 cells. I never stopped asking questions on the research on HIV/AIDS virus, as the passion grew so did my eagerness broaden. Moreover, I decided to study medical sciences as my Undergraduate degree, while taking up jobs in the Clinical laboratories in my Country, Nigeria. I care about my professional development and I care about standards I maintain whilst following strict working practices and procedures I want to be given this opportunity as Clinical Services Associate because I enjoy working as part of a team and my natural skills and experiences I possess are all strong match for the job description and the Specifications I have chosen your organization to work for the simple reason that you have an organization that always insist on quality and high standards. In fact; from my research, you train and support your staff well and the people who work here have many experiences and are passionate about working at your Laboratory and hands-on experience. This is a place I’ll be able to work and learn from Experts. I will be able it continuously grows and develop, I will get to immense myself in challenging yet interesting medical research task that will enable me to put my skills into good use. However, if I’m successful, I can genuinely see myself working here for a long period of time and becoming a highly effective and hardworking member of the team. I have an exceptional attention to details as skills (meaning, I can’t be permitted to make mistakes) coupled with the ability to work accurately. It’s important to have a strong communication skill both verbally or written; which as a Medical Doctor and a researcher I possess it too. Moreover, I am a great team worker and collaborator because I will not only work with the laboratory team or colleagues, but external stakeholders and medical staff. Here in National Hospital Abuja, Nigeria, I was part of the 5 team workers who were required to conduct complex experiments under a strict predetermined condition in other to either verify or reject a university hypothesis. It was a great project for me to get involved with; simply because I had to work closely with the others to conduct a significant number of experiments all by following a defined scientific procedure and under a very strict time conditions. At the starting of the project we got together as a team, we discussed our objectives and allocate tasks, we set each other milestones in which to complete each project elements I am confident that I have the ability to follow strict rules and lab procedures, thus I am bent on taking responsibility for my own professional development and ability to work at pace maintaining exceptional concentration levels.
