Charles Adetoye

I am a medical doctor currently working as a Psychiatry Registrar at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, where I am involved in the assessment, management, and follow-up of patients with a wide range of mental health conditions. My practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, patient-centred care, and a strong commitment to patient safety. Prior to this role, I served as a Medical Officer at the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital during my National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), where I gained valuable experience in general medical practice, emergency care, and multidisciplinary collaboration. I also completed my internship at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Kwara State, where I developed foundational clinical competence across multiple specialties. I bring strong interpersonal and communication skills to my clinical practice, with a reflective approach that prioritises empathy, professionalism, and holistic patient care. I am GMC registered and fully licensed to practise medicine. Beyond medicine, I am also a creative writer, with a passion for storytelling and expressive writing, which complements my clinical work by enhancing reflection and communication
