Dr Gunasunthari Rajoo

I am a fully qualified General Practitioner with broad clinical experience across primary care settings, including both public and private practice. I have completed my internship in Malaysia and have been working as a GP in Ireland since 2023 under structured supervision and vocational training pathways. I have a strong interest in holistic, patient-centred care with a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management. My clinical practice includes management of acute presentations, long-term conditions, women’s health, and mental health. I have a particular interest in reproductive health and have supported patients through fertility assessment and management pathways. I am experienced in evidence-based prescribing and regularly align my practice with MMC. I am currently involved in audit work, including medication safety initiatives such as Valproate and Topiramate prescribing reviews. I am committed to continuous professional development and have recently undertaken preparation for postgraduate examinations in general practice. I work well within multidisciplinary teams and value clear communication and shared decision-making with patients. My long-term goal is to further develop my career in structured GP training and contribute to high-quality, accessible primary care in different healthcare systems.
