Marianna Avellar

As a general practitioner, I am committed to seeing the person as a whole, considering their biopsychosocial well-being. I provide comprehensive healthcare, with routine checkups and follow ups for chronic illness. I have graduated in Medicine in Brazil, followed by her MScR Infectious Diseases at the University of Edinburgh. Back to Brazil after the Masters, she specialized in Primary Health Care and worked directly with patients in situations of vulnerability and lack of resources, including during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, I am a PhD candidate from the University of St Andrews.
