Irma Medina

I am Dr. Irma Medina, a physician with a solid academic background and vast experience in various fields of medicine. I hold a degree as a Medical Surgeon and completed my education with a Diploma in Surgical Medical Emergencies, in addition to a specialization in Critical Care Aeromedicine. Since September 2020, I have also worked as a freelance lecturer, lecturing on medical topics such as metabolic syndrome, personality disorders, depression and anxiety, in universities and companies, disseminating up-to-date knowledge and innovative practices. My teaching repertoire includes subjects such as Morphology, Physiology and Propedeutics, contributing to the training of future doctors with a solid theoretical and practical basis. In the clinical field, I have worked in emergency and hospitalization services, conducting first-rate assessments, attending emergencies and providing intensive care. I have held roles in various clinics and medical centers, offering high-quality care in consultations and emergencies. I have specialized in the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and international standards to offer the best possible treatment. Additionally, I have participated in clinical research with COVID-19 patients in the United States, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and treatment in this critical area. My experience also includes providing services as a general practitioner, providing home care and managing chronic diseases. My extensive clinical experience is complemented by a dedication to teaching and research, highlighting me as a comprehensive professional committed to the continuous improvement of health care and education.
