Lidia Carnio

A patient-focused Family Physician with five years of experience managing the health of diverse patient populations, from children to adults, focusing in delivering a holistic approach. Proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions, I am also advancing my expertise through a remote specialization to be a better medical tutor. My goal is to deliver high-quality health care and education. My career in medicine started after I graduated from the Universidade Federal do Cariri. I then began working as a general physician in Farias Brito, Ceará. After working for about a year, I moved to Porto Alegre to participate in the Programa Mais Médicos, where I began working in the city of Alvorada, in Rio Grande do Sul. During that time, in 2022, I studied primary care and completed a specialization course at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, UFSC, in Primary Care. Then, in 2023, I left the Unidade de Saúde da Família in Alvorada to enroll in a residency training program at the Hospital Pronto Socorro de Porto Alegre, which I completed in 2025. After that, I started another fellowship, this time in medical tutoring, which I will finish in 2027. After finishing the training in Family Medicine, I worked for more than 7 months in Brazil. Then, in September, I moved to Malta, where I live now, and I still assist patients from Brazil and Italy remotely, providing affordable consultations with quality and patient-centered care.
