I am a physician with more than a decade of clinical experience across India and the United Kingdom, with a focused specialization in Geriatric Medicine. My clinical journey has consistently reinforced my belief that caring for older adults is both an intellectually challenging discipline and a deeply meaningful responsibility. I completed my MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and further advanced my training in the United Kingdom, where I worked in multiple NHS Trusts and gained clinical exposure in Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiology, Stroke Medicine, and Care of the Elderly. I have been registered with the UK General Medical Council since 2015. Upon returning to India, I have practiced as a Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine at leading multispecialty hospitals including Aster CMI Hospital and Regal Hospital, managing a wide spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions. My dedicated focus on geriatrics developed during my tenure as a Registrar in Geriatrics at Bangalore Baptist Hospital, where I had the opportunity to work closely with senior adults facing complex medical, cognitive, emotional, and functional needs. This experience made clear to me that geriatric care requires not only medical knowledge but also patience, empathy, and respect for the individual’s dignity and life story. To further deepen my expertise, I completed: Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine – Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine – IGNOU / MS Ramiah Medical College Certificate Course in Diabetes in Special Situations – BMJ India & Novo Nordisk The field of geriatrics is growing in significance as populations live longer, and I am motivated to be part of a healthcare system that prioritizes quality of life, independence, and dignity for older adults. I am committed to continuing my professional growth while contributing compassionately and ethically to patient care.
