Elizabeth Fertig

I am an enthusiastic, experienced and conscientious GP who is dedicated to my patients. I am friendly and approachable and enjoy interacting with and supporting my colleagues at the surgery. Despite the many challenges in primary care I am passionate about general practice and thoroughly enjoy my work. I have been working for over 8 years both in practice and digitally. I have a specialist interest in Women’s health and have the British Menopause society accreditation and am currently working towards the confidence in menopause by Newson Health. I can confidently assess women in practice and I particularly love menopause care and all that comes with it. I am also confident in assessing skin lesions and common dermatological conditions. I have worked with a variety of patients including those facing socio-economic deprivation. I have gained invaluable experience here and developed my skills further; especially those in chronic disease management, lifestyle medicine, menopause care and hormonal health, mental health conditions, drug and alcohol dependence and assessment and referrals for neurodivergent children and adults. I have been the clinical lead for a nursing home for many years and thrive when helping elderly care patients. I welcome patient focused discussion and planning around advanced care and optimising quality of life.
