Cardiologist and interventional cardiology specialist with training in Mexico and Spain, currently working as a Research Fellow and PhD candidate at Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands. My clinical background includes the evaluation and management of patients with valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, dyslipidaemia and arrhythmias, together with experience in invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular assessment. My current academic work focuses on transcatheter aortic valve replacement, complex structural heart disease and coronary intervention, including clinical outcomes research and CT-based procedural assessment.
